Visitors to Universal Orlando Resort have plenty of options when it comes to staying onsite. Each one of the onsite Universal hotels has something different to offer and follows a unique theme. Loews Sapphire Falls Resort transports guests to the Caribbean. The airy lobby is decorated with bright colored furnishings and vintage-inspired travel posters. The friendly staff can direct you to your room in the three building resort. The mid-range hotel offers early park entry and transportation on the boats.
Rooms come with all the amenities you look for in a hotel, including views of the pool or lagoon, top notch toiletries, a mini fridge, coffee maker, and flat-screen television. There’s a small work area and closet as well. The hotel boasts 1,000 rooms and suites, including kid-friendly suites with twin beds and pull out couches.
Sapphire Falls has the largest pool of any of the onsite hotels, which is perfect for finding a calm spot even when it’s busy. There’s a sand beach, children’s area, water slide, and even a hot tub. If you want an even more luxurious experience, the hotel also has cabanas for rent. The hotel offers a full-service fitness center with a sauna.
Sapphire Falls also has some of the best dining options at the resort. Amistata Cookhouse serves Caribbean-inspired fare and New Dutch Trading offers coffee and light bites. Strong Water Tavern specializes in top shelf rums and cocktails. Drhum Club Kantine is the poolside dining option that is open seasonally. There are also weekly dinner shows and Despicable Me character breakfasts.
