Acworth, Georgia is a lakeside community of 20,000 people in suburban Atlanta. The area was formerly inhabited by the Cherokee Nation before the Trail of Tears. Much of the town was burned down during Sherman’s March to the Sea. The historic downtown has a number of shops and restaurants, including Henry’s, a Louisiana grill, and this Coca-Cola wall next to it. The remake of Footloose was filmed in Acworth.
