The Yesterday Cafe opened in downtown Greensboro, Georgia in 1995 and has been a family-run operation ever since. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner throughout the week. The menu features Southern favorites like fried green tomatoes, collard greens, macaroni and cheese, and pork chops.
But what makes this small town favorite so successful is their world-famous buttermilk pie. The deliciously sweet dessert has been featured in Southern Living and was even served at the wedding of country star Carrie Underwood, which took place nearby.

The Yesterday Cafe is located at 114 N Main Street, Greensboro, Georgia 30642, around 2 hours from Atlanta. From Atlanta, take I-2o east to exit 130 towards Greensboro/Eatonton. Turn left onto GA 44 E/Lake Oconee Parkway.
Continue onto North Main Street and the restaurant will be on your right. They’re open for lunch from Monday to Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm and for dinner on Wednesday to Saturday from 3 to 9 pm.
