I’m in love with this movie, this is my child hood with my mamma. As far as I can remember, what a lovely story line and an inspiration to getting over my past. I’ve always lived plantation houses and hope to live in one, not because of the degradation of African Americans because I am one myself, but because if the beauty and history zone the pain and the time era. I’d love to visit the real Yaya Sister hood house one day , definitely I n my bucket list. Sincerely yours, Miss Tiffany Rose Arthur, All the way from Texas.

As Miss Tiffany said above this was her childhood., I believe a lot of us girls lived and survived this upbringing. My dream one day is to own an old house that will become the Ya Ya Home. I have some very close friends that are my Ya Ya’s . We take a yearly trip, bring our notebooks, laugh and cry till we almost piddle. These are the memories we make together for all of our hardships we’re still working through.
