In Golden Globe award-winner The Green Book, a successful black musician goes on tour in the segregated South, accompanied by an Italian-American bouncer-turned-driver, forging an unlikely friendship.
Mahershala Ali stars alongside Viggo Mortensen and Linda Cardellini. The name comes from the guidebooks used to tell African Americans the safe places to stop in their travels. Filming took place all around New Orleans, including at Houmas House Plantation, The Roosevelt Hotel, Clover Grill, and McAlister Auditorium at Tulane University.
