Southern Stays: The Atlantic Hotel and Spa

The Atlantic Hotel and Spa

Fort Lauderdale is a city full of luxury resorts, most of them located within a few blocks from one another. I recently stayed at The Atlantic Hotel and Spa, located right across the street from the beach.

I couldn’t have asked for a better location as it’s easy to access the rest of the city and close to some of the best restaurants around. It’s easy to see why the hotel boasts AAA four-diamond status.

Rooms at The Atlantic Hotel and Spa

Room options include studios, which include private balconies with views of the ocean. They have their own living areas with full kitchenettes, ideal for longer stays when you want to cook a few meals for yourself or simply have a bottle of wine chilling. These rooms come in king or queen formations. The Atlantic also has suites, which have the same amenities as the studios but with additional space.

The bathroom features a marble countertop with separate shower and bathtub. Plush towels and bathrobes make your stay that much more comfortable, as well as top-notch toiletries. All rooms also include flat-screen televisions, a pull-out couch, and free WiFi.

The lobby showcases unique works of art. Also, be sure to stop by the outdoor pool, with oceanfront views, the spa, and fitness center. The fitness center is open 24 hours a day for guest use and the spa schedules yoga classes. The spa offers couples massages, hair and nail treatments and spray tanning.

Dining and Amenities at The Atlantic Hotel

The property has two restaurants onsite. Beauty & The Feast is an eclectic eatery that serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. They serve American favorites like flatbread pizzas and chicken and waffles, pictured below. Ocean Market Grille is the poolside dining option, open daily from 11 am to sunset for light bites and cocktails.

Tips for Staying at The Atlantic Hotel

The Atlantic Hotel & Spa is located at 601 N Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33304. Rates start at around $350 per night and go up from there. Book by visiting their website or calling (954) 567-8020. Parking is valet only, so factor the daily rate into the price of the room.

My stay at The Atlantic Hotel and Spa was arranged by Visit Fort Lauderdale.
