Rosemary Inn Bed & Breakfast

When visiting North Augusta, South Carolina, your choices are limited in terms of non-chain accommodation. But thankfully the historic town has plenty of historic inns and bed and breakfasts. Rosemary Inn Bed and Breakfast is one such, located inside an antebellum-style home.

It’s actually one of two in the area, located right across the street from one another, and both are inns owned by the same couple. The home was completed in 1902 and its interior reflects America’s Gilded Age. The pinewood in the entryway is especially breathtaking. Descendants of the original family, the Jacksons, lived here until the 1980s.

Rooms at Rosemary Inn Bed & Breakfast

Rosemary Inn, a AAA four-diamond award winner, is a short walk from all the restaurants and shops of North Augusta. In fact, from the hill that the inn is perched on, you can see a straight view to as far as downtown Augusta, Georgia.

The home features a large front porch with chairs for relaxing, large rooms for events and meetings, and homemade breakfast daily. There’s also a hospitality section that has sodas, water, coffee, and snacks for guests to enjoy.

Each room at Rosemary Inn is different and each is named for a different aspect of the house’s history. Rooms range from one bed to three beds. Wireless Internet and newspapers are included with all stays. Beds feature plush toppers and comforters and bathrobes add to the comfort level. They’re also decorated with original art.

Tips for Staying at Rosemary Inn Bed & Breakfast

Rosemary Inn Bed & Breakfast is located at 804 Carolina Avenue, North Augusta, South Carolina 29841. Rates start at $179 per night and include parking. Book your stay by visiting their website or calling (803) 426-1546. The family also owns the Lookaway Inn across the street.

My stay at Rosemary Inn Bed and Breakfast was arranged by South Carolina Thoroughbred Country and Laurie Rowe Communications.
