Southern Stays: Sonesta Gwinnett Place Atlanta

December 13, 2017 By Caroline Eubanks Leave a Comment

Located in the suburb of Duluth, Sonesta Gwinnett Place Atlanta is a getaway for locals or the perfect place for a conference. It’s one of the area’s largest hotels, with over 100 rooms and suites. It’s also the first under the Sonesta brand to feature their standard hotel and Sonesta ES Suites extended-stay suites in the same property.

Rooms at the Sonesta Gwinnett Place Atlanta

Standard rooms come with in-room coffee makers, WiFi, flat-screen televisions, and bathtubs. Extended stay rooms are pet-friendly and have increased space. They each have additional room, brighter décor, and kitchenettes, making them more popular with business travelers. Guests also have access to the gift shop, fitness center, and indoor and outdoor pool.

Dining at the Sonesta Gwinnett Place Atlanta

Sonesta Gwinnett Place also has multiple in-house dining options. The Grapevine restaurant hosts daily breakfast, including hot entrees, cereal, and fruit. The ArtBar is another option, only the third in the country, with a gastropub menu and craft cocktails.

While you’re nearby, I recommend taking in all that Gwinnett’s Korean community has to offer. Mac Lab | Bakery & Café and their famous unicorn macarons are just across the street. Jeju Sauna and The Stone Grill – Korean BBQ and Grill are also nearby. You can also shop at Gwinnett Place Mall and the Mall of Georgia, both a short drive away.

Tips for Staying at the Sonesta Gwinnett Place Atlanta

Sonesta Gwinnett Place Atlanta is located at 1775 Pleasant Hill Road, Duluth, Georgia 30096. Rates start at $150 per night and parking is included with your stay. Book your stay by visiting their website or calling (770) 923-1775.

My stay was hosted by the Sonesta Gwinnett Place Atlanta Hotel.
