Opened in 2018, The Alida Hotel in Savannah, Georgia, features 173 uniquely designed rooms and suites, each showcasing elements crafted by local artists from the Savannah College of Art & Design. The Marriott Tribute Collection hotel is by the Makeready group, which also operates Hotel Emeline in Charleston, and is right by the JW Marriott Plant Riverside District and its affiliated restaurants.

All accommodations are equipped with king-size beds, hardwood floors, and custom amenities, ensuring a comfortable and distinctive stay. Perks include in-room coffee makers with locally roasted coffee from The Grind and luxury toiletries, with reading nooks overlooking the city.

Some suites even have balconies, and all rooms are also pet-friendly. Each floor also has The Nooks, with complimentary sparkling and still water, plus fresh fruit.

Amenities at the Alida Hotel

The Alida Hotel offers a 24-hour fitness center with Peloton bikes, an outdoor pool with cabanas, free WiFi, bicycle rentals, and Mokes available for rent to explore the city. Guests can also enjoy Crosley record players with curated tunes, Chef’s Choice cookies, and cocktail service in the lobby.

The Keep Shop is a unique feature at Makeready Hotels, which is a boutique highlighting handcrafted goods from local artisans. ​The Alida shop includes luxury leather goods from Satchel, bath salts and soaps from Salacia Salts apothecary, and ceramics by Element Clay Studio.

Eating and Drinking at the Alida Hotel

Dining options within the hotel include Rhett, a classic American kitchen serving Southern-inspired dishes, and The Trade Room, a lounge offering craft cocktails in a mid-century modern setting. For panoramic views of Savannah, guests can visit The Lost Square, the hotel’s rooftop bar. ​
