Small Town Saturday: Darien GA

Located south of Savannah, Darien is a small town in coastal Georgia first settled in 1736 by Scottish Highlanders. A British fort was located nearby and the area was affected by Spanish and Indian attacks. Much of the town was burned during the Civil War.
