When it comes to Walt Disney World parks, Hollywood Studios offers some really interesting dining options, with a mix of quick-service and seated restaurants. Some also offer reservations, which can make your day in the parks much easier. Here are a few of our favorites, which will be updated as we visit more.
50s Prime Time Cafe

Located in the Echo Lake section of the park, the table-service restaurant offers lunch and dinner. The aesthetic is inspired by a 1950s American home, complete with Formica tables, vintage TVs playing black-and-white sitcoms, and abundant knick-knacks.
The menu focuses on classic American comfort food, including fried chicken, meatloaf, pot roast, and chicken pot pie. Keep in mind that the bar seating area, the Tune-In Lounge, is available if you don’t have a reservation.
Backlot Express Restaurant

If it’s a quick bite you’re after, Backlot Express is an underrated dining option also in Echo Lake. Its theme is “a production warehouse/back-lot prop shop,” so you’ll see movie studio props, paint drums, signage, and a workshop-like feel.
It has indoor and outdoor seating, where you can enjoy lunch and dinner, including burgers, sandwiches, salads, and an Asian-inspired teriyaki chicken rice bowl, our personal favorite. It’s also where you’ll find the “Wookiee Cookie,” two oatmeal cookies with vanilla cream filling and a chocolate sash on top.
BaseLine Taphouse

If it’s a snack and a drink you’re after, head to this taproom in the Grand Avenue area, inspired by a converted small print shop-turned-pub. The pub draws its inspiration from California craft beer and wine culture, including several on tap.
The best way to try it all is with a beer flight you can create yourself, choosing four 5-ounce pours from around California. Don’t miss the giant Bavarian pretzel, which comes with spicy mustard and beer cheese. The charcuterie board is another favorite.
Oga’s Cantina

Oga’s Cantina is a lounge/bar-style venue located in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. It’s themed as a spaceport cantina where smugglers, travelers, and local characters might gather. The central bar is the hub of activity, with standing tables and a few booths, and a DJ-ing droid.
Reservations are absolutely recommended, and your time is limited while inside, so don’t expect to get comfortable and linger. The food and drinks are fine, with funky garnishes and names, but you’re likely here for the experience.
Sci-Fi Dine-In

Another beloved eatery in Hollywood Studios is the Sci-Fi Drive-In in Commissary Lane, which you also need reservations for. The space is an indoor drive-in theater, with the tables built like classic cars and a screen showing sci-fi films.
During the summer months, it’s a great place to cool off. The full-service menu is classic American comfort food, including burgers, sandwiches, salads, and plant-based options.
