A wounded Union soldier is found near a girls school in Virginia during the Civil War. The young girls take him in to care for him, but he soon causes problems for all the ladies of the house. The Sofia Coppola film, which is a remake of Clint Eastwood’s 1971 Western, stars Kirsten Dunst, Nicole Kidman, Elle Fanning, and Colin Farrell.
