Greenwood, Mississippi is 130 miles from Memphis, home to blues music and Viking Range headquarters. There they have a luxury hotel, cooking school and spa. It was the site of a number of protests during the Civil Rights Movement and where B.B. King performed his first live broadcast. Today it has a population of around 17,000 people. Many parts of the film The Help were also filmed in Greenwood.
