The town of Rogers, Arkansas is a suburb near Fayetteville and Bentonville. The town was established in 1881 on the Saint Louis and San Francisco Railway. It was home to the first official Wal-Mart store in the country. Daisy Rifles were also started here and a museum is devoted to the products. A number of small mercantiles opened in the 1900s and the buildings still exist today.
