College towns aren’t usually known for luxurious accommodations, but that all changed when Graduate Hotels was born. Establishing boutique hotels near major universities, The Graduate Hotel Oxford was one of the more recent properties to open, purpose-built for the town.
No longer do parents have to stay in basic hotels near the highway when visiting their kids. This property is, like the others, a short walk away from the University of Mississippi campus but far enough away that you don’t feel like you’re sleeping in a frat house.

Each property has its own details that connect back to the university. For Oxford, it’s the red and blue details found throughout each room and also in the hallways. There’s also artwork in each room of famous Ole Miss families, athletes or personalities.
WiFi is complimentary and bathrooms are equipped with Malin + Goetz toiletries. Instead of a “do not disturb” sign, you’re given a pennant and the room also includes an HD television, docking station, ironing board, and coffee maker.
Rooms come in king or queen bed arrangements as well as some with patios and sleeper sofas. There are also four suite styles, each named after a prominent person who lived or spent time in Oxford. Suites are a big hit for those coming on game weekends.
The lobby is the epicenter for all activity, featuring its own bar with globes as lights, a large space for working or mingling and Cabin 82, a cafe serving morning coffee and afternoon snacks. It’s also a hangout for students and those trying to get work done, as plugs are plentiful and the WiFi is free.
Upstairs is The Coop, the property’s restaurant and rooftop bar. It’s a favorite for the post-game crowd and can get rowdy on those weekends. Here you can enjoy deviled eggs, barbecue shrimp and craft cocktails. And to work all of those Southern-fried calories off, there’s an in-house fitness center.
The Graduate Oxford is a place to spend a weekend visiting or just a place to get away from it all. You don’t have to know someone at Ole Miss to make the trip! And just in case you want to bring Fido along, they’re pet-friendly.
