Chattanooga, Tennessee may seem like an odd location for The Dwell Hotel, a stylish boutique hotel, but it’s become a part of the community for discerning travelers and locals looking for a good meal.
Set between the Southside and Warehouse Row, the hotel is designed like an inn, with each room taking on a different look. The area was originally home to a Civil War fort before becoming a 1909 hotel.
Rooms at the Dwell Hotel

Each room has midcentury modern furnishings, some that are suites and some with balconies as well as king and queen beds. There are also bathtubs and working fireplaces.
All rooms come with coffee-making equipment, a sound machine, flat-screen televisions, bathrobes, and C.O. Bigelow toiletries. WiFi is also included. I stayed in The Kite room. Note that the hotel is not recommended for children under age 12.

Dining at the Dwell Hotel
Breakfast is included but is made up of pastries, yogurt, fruit, and coffee. Additional items are available for purchase. Matilda Midnight is their bar, where breakfast is also served, which offers discounted drinks and bites on Sundays. The Solarium is a full-service restaurant inside the hotel with a globally inspired menu.
