Southern Stays: Universal’s Aventura Hotel

October 15, 2018 By Caroline Eubanks Leave a Comment

Universal’s Aventura Hotel

Universal Orlando Resort’s latest on-site accommodation property is the Aventura Hotel, a modern but budget-friendly option next door to Sapphire Falls. Covered in floor-to-ceiling windows, the circular shape of the hotel takes its inspiration from the fidget spinner.

The sleek lobby welcomes guests, as this is where there is an outpost of the gift shops and access to the parking garage. There’s also a virtual reality game room and a large fitness center.

Be sure to get your Universal 2-Day Park-to-Park Ticket – Plus Extra Day before you leave for your trip.

Dining at the Aventura Hotel

The lobby has one of two dining venues. Urban Pantry is a food hall with pizza, burgers, and sushi, as well as fast options for snacks and drinks. Outside by the pool, there’s also a bar that serves frozen cocktails.

Bar 17, located on the top floor, has food and drinks, including bao buns and other light bites, along with Florida craft beers and cocktails. This area has the best views around. There’s also a Starbucks in the lobby with sandwiches and nitro cold brew.

Rooms at the Aventura Hotel

There are multiple types of rooms, over 600 in all, that come with free WiFi, televisions, an iPad to control lights and other features, and mini fridges.

Suites in corner rooms are curtained off with extra spaces with their own couches and televisions for families. All bathrooms have glass showers with top-notch toiletries and towels.

Guests of the Aventura Hotel have early access to the parks at Universal Orlando Resort and transportation via a shuttle bus that runs between this hotel and Cabana Bay.

It’s also possible to walk to Sapphire Falls and hop on one of the boats to CityWalk. You can even take the complimentary shuttle that takes guests to other on-site hotel dining venues.

If You Go

Universal’s Aventura Hotel is located at 6725 Adventure Way, Orlando, Florida 32819. Rooms start at $116 per night. Parking is $14 per night, and the hotel also has an Avis rental car desk. Book your stay by visiting their website or by calling (888) 273-1311.

My stay was hosted through my partnership with Universal Orlando Resort Blog Squad.
