Grantville, Georgia is a town south of Atlanta with less than 5,000 residents that was founded in 1852. Originally a hub for the cotton industry, as the business dwindled, so did the population. Most notably, the town was used as a filming location for The Walking Dead, Lawless, and Broken Bridges. Named for the geothermal pools found in the area, Warm Springs, Georgia is perhaps best known as the former second home of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Greenville, Georgia is the county seat of Merriweather County, located about 50 miles from Atlanta. Founded in 1827, today the town has a population of less than 900 people. It was named for Revolutionary War hero Nathaniel Greene. The iconic courthouse was built in 1903 but suffered damage from a fire in the 1976.
