December 16, 2019 By Caroline Eubanks Leave a Comment

Surfside Inn and Suites

Surfside Inn and Suites is one property within Universal’s Endless Summer Resort, a dual hotel complex with Dockside Inn and Suites. Set across the highway from the rest of Universal Orlando Resort, it is convenient to the new Epic Universe park. The entire hotel follows a surf-theme with nods to places like Hawaii, California, and Australia.

The hotel is the best for families, as the rates are the most affordable of any of the Universal hotels. There are also multiple room types, including the two-bedroom suite that allows families to spread out.

Suites come with mini-fridges, microwaves, coffee makers, and seating areas if you’d like to prepare snacks before heading to the parks. Some floors also have vending machines for essentials and guest laundry facilities.

Dining at Surfside Inn & Suites

The Beach Break Cafe is Surfside’s main dining facility, offering everything for under $20. There is a quick service area to pick up essentials like bags of chips, bottles of wine, and microwave popcorn.

There are also prepared foods like sushi. The hot food bar has a changing menu throughout the day with items like breakfast pizza, sandwiches, burgers, and salads.

The hotel also has the aforementioned Sand Bar, serving tropical drinks, beer, and smoothies, as well as a Starbucks, and pizza delivery like that of Cabana Bay.

Amenities at Surfside Inn & Suites

There’s a large surfboard-shaped pool overlooking the lagoon with plentiful beach chairs and umbrellas. The pool also has a shallow end for young swimmers.

There’s also a poolside bar, the Sand Bar, and games like ping pong. Elsewhere on the property, you can enjoy the fitness center and game room.

Like with the other Universal Orlando hotels, complimentary transportation is offered to CityWalk and both parks. Another bus goes to Volcano Bay.

Guests have access to early admission to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Volcano Bay with tickets. The Universal 2-Day Park-to-Park Ticket – Plus Extra Day is the best option for visitors.

An on-site vacation planning center allows you to book tickets and dinner reservations as well as rent cars and shuttles to other Orlando area attractions. It’s also close to International Drive area restaurants and landmarks.

Tips for Staying at Surfside Inn & Suites

Surfside Inn and Suites is located at 7000 Universal Boulevard, Orlando, Florida 32819. Rates start at $85 per night for standard rooms and $131 for suites.

Guest parking is $15 per day for each vehicle and WiFi is included. Book your stay by calling (888) 273-1311 or by visiting their website.
