Opened in July 2019 on the site of a former general store, the Cotton House Hotel is named for Cotton Row, where farmers come to sell their crops in downtown Cleveland, Mississippi.
The impeccably designed property is a part of Marriott’s Tribute Collection and one of only a handful in the region. It’s also the perfect base to explore the rich history of the surrounding Mississippi Delta.
Rooms at the Cotton House Hotel

It has nods to local history on cotton-printed pillowcases and features like the artwork inspired by the Mississippi River. Guests can enjoy in-room record players with tunes from Mississippi blues artists. They also have photographs of notable musicians and artwork featuring Dockery Farms, the birthplace of the blues.
There are 95 pet-friendly guestrooms, including 6 king suites. All have local coffee and coffee makers and luxury toiletries. Suites have mini-fridges and pull-out sofas.

Dining at the Cotton House Hotel
The Cotton House Hotel is home to some of Cleveland’s best dining. Delta Meat Market, run by James Beard-nominated Chef Cole Ellis, moved into a purpose-built space across the street. They have a menu of Southern favorites and a meat counter. Upstairs at Bar Fontaine, guests can enjoy rooftop views and Italian-inspired dishes.

They have a ballroom for weddings and events as well as a meeting room on the first floor. This is also where you can find the fitness center, equipped with treadmills and ellipticals. Bar Fontaine can also be rented out as an event space.
