Voted one of the best hotels in the world by Travel + Leisure, the Heights House Hotel in Raleigh, North Carolina, was originally Montford Hall, a circa 1858 Italianate home in the Boylan Heights neighborhood. It was purchased by a local couple in 2018 and completely restored, bringing it back to its National Historic Landmark status.
