Indianola, Mississippi is a town of over 12,000 in the Mississippi Delta. It’s a former Choctaw village that is now known as the home of legendary musician B.B. King. He has his own museum here, which displays information on his upbringing and rise to fame. It’s listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has a small downtown with shops and restaurants.
