For many years, Atlanta, Georgia didn’t have boutique hotels, just large chain hotels near downtown. But Hotel Clermont changed all of that, transforming a formerly abandoned building into a stylish hotel.
The building itself, originally the Clermont Motor Hotel, was built in 1924 but closed completely in 2009 after many years of disrepair. It was purchased in 2010 and again in 2013 to be developed into a hotel.

Hotel Clermont opened in June 2018 with rooms and suites with bunk beds, king beds, and two queen bedrooms. Rooms include Internet, TVs, Bluetooth speakers, La Bottega toiletries, and a hairdryer.
Guests also have access to Cafe Clermont, the in-house coffee shop, the lobby bar, and Tiny Lou’s, a French brasserie. There’s also the rooftop bar, with views of Ponce City Market, and the infamous Clermont Lounge in the basement.
