Made in the South Holiday Gift Guide

November 21, 2017 By Caroline Eubanks Leave a Comment

When you’re looking for holiday gifts this year that your loved ones will adore, look no further than these makers who hail from the Southern states. They can remind you of a previous trip or get you excited about an upcoming one. Or just show your hometown pride.

We’ve included a few of our favorite shops for their prints, clothing, and more. Now is the best time to shop local, especially since many Etsy shops are offering sales! Photos belong to their respective owners.

Stocking Stuffers

Great Smoky Mountains Cabin Candle, Elder & Co., $17

We bought one of this company’s candles on a recent trip to Pigeon Forge and can think of no better way to remember it than this scented candle. It smells like wild honeysuckle and is made of soy with a cotton wick. The jar is reusable as well! You can burn it for up to 55 hours. The company is based in Asheville, North Carolina.

You can’t beat this deal on the Cajun spices from this Rock Hill, South Carolina-based company. In addition to herbs and spices, they also make soaps, essential oils, and other feel-good items for your kitchen and bath. This blend, in particular, is something that everyone can use in just about any recipe.

Charleston, South Carolina Skyline Mug, Natty Michelle Paperie, $16

We love so many of the products from this Bishop, Georgia-based store. It features beloved icons like the Ravenel Bridge, the Pineapple fountain, church steeples, and the City Market. The mug makes for the perfect gift for a housewarming or hostess gift, as well as to add to your kitchen collection. Hand wash is recommended to keep the screen-printed design.
